At Forme Living Co, we design sofas for modern Australian living — thoughtfully made, compactly delivered, and easier to bring home.

This Shipping Policy explains how our delivery process works, including dispatch timeframes, delivery areas, shipping fees, Click & Collect, and what to do if you need support with your order.

Delivery areas

Forme Living Co currently delivers within Australia only.

We deliver Australia-wide where our delivery network allows. Some regional, remote, island, or hard-to-service postcodes may not be eligible for automatic checkout delivery rates.

If your postcode is outside our standard delivery network, or if additional freight charges apply due to your location, we will contact you before dispatch to discuss your options. You can choose to proceed with any updated delivery quote or cancel your order for a full refund.

Where delivery cannot be arranged, we will cancel your order and provide a full refund.

Where your order ships from

Orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Kingsgrove, NSW.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in NSW.

Dispatch timeframes

In-stock items are usually dispatched from our Kingsgrove warehouse within 1–2 business days after your order is confirmed.

Pre-order items, or products with a listed lead time, will dispatch according to the timeframe shown on the product page. If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we may ship them together once all items are available, unless otherwise arranged.

During peak periods, sales, public holidays, extreme weather events, courier disruptions or other circumstances outside our control, dispatch and delivery timeframes may be affected.

Shipping fees

Standard delivery is included for many eligible metro and eastern-state delivery areas and will be shown at checkout where available.

Some locations, including WA, TAS, NT, regional, remote, island, or hard-to-service areas, may incur an additional freight contribution or require a separate delivery quote. Any applicable delivery fee will be shown at checkout where possible.

In some cases, a shipping fee shown at checkout may be incorrect due to postcode, courier limitations, item size, regional freight costs, or carrier surcharges. If this happens, we will contact you before dispatch with the updated delivery cost. You can choose to proceed with the order or cancel for a full refund.

Free Click & Collect is also available by appointment from our Kingsgrove, NSW warehouse.

Delivery fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Estimated delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and begin once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated delivery timeframes are:

Sydney metro: 1–3 business days after dispatch
Other metro areas: 3–7 business days after dispatch
Regional areas: 5–12 business days after dispatch
Remote or hard-to-service areas: timing may vary and will depend on carrier availability

Delivery timing may depend on your location, order timing, courier availability, public holidays, peak periods, and any access requirements at the delivery address.

For eligible Sydney metro postcodes, next-business-day delivery may be available for in-stock orders placed before 12pm on a business day.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may take a short time to appear after your order leaves our Kingsgrove warehouse.

Delivery service

Our standard delivery service is to your front door or ground floor entry point.

Couriers are generally unable to carry items upstairs, into lifts, through apartments, or into a specific room unless this has been arranged separately. Please make sure someone is available to help move your boxes inside if needed.

Delivery does not include assembly, unboxing, rubbish removal, or placement of the sofa inside your home. Your sofa will arrive boxed, and setup instructions will be provided with your order.

Access requirements

Before placing your order, please check that the boxed sofa dimensions are suitable for your building access, including doorways, lifts, stairwells, hallways and parking or loading areas.

While our sofas are designed to arrive in compact boxes, customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery can be safely received at the address.

If your delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, missed delivery, unsafe access, or no one being available where a signature is required, a redelivery fee may apply.

Authority to Leave

Deliveries may require a signature on arrival unless you provide Authority to Leave instructions.

You may be able to provide Authority to Leave instructions at checkout or directly with the courier once tracking is available. If you choose Authority to Leave, the courier may leave your order in a safe place at the delivery address.

Authority to Leave is used at your own risk. Forme Living Co is not responsible for loss, theft, weather damage, or damage caused after the courier has delivered the order in line with your instructions, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery address changes

You can request a delivery address change before your order has been dispatched.

Once your order has left our Kingsgrove warehouse, we may not be able to change or redirect the delivery, but we will do our best to help where possible.

For delivery address changes, please contact hello@formeliving.com.au with your order number as soon as possible.

Preferred delivery dates

For eligible Sydney metro orders, we may offer the option to select or request a preferred delivery date.

For deliveries outside Sydney metro, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, but tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Weekend delivery is not currently offered as a standard service. In some Sydney metro areas, weekend delivery may be available by prior arrangement, depending on courier availability.

Multiple boxes

Some Forme Living Co sofas may arrive in more than one box.

In some cases, boxes may be delivered separately depending on courier handling and scanning. If you believe part of your order is missing, please contact us at hello@formeliving.com.au with your order number and tracking details.

PO Boxes and parcel collection points

Due to the size and weight of our sofa boxes, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, parcel collection points, or post office addresses.

Please provide a residential or business street address at checkout.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is available by appointment from our Kingsgrove, NSW warehouse.

Once your order is ready, we will contact you with collection details. Please wait for confirmation before arriving, as collections are available by appointment only.

Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle and arranging any help needed to safely load and transport their order.

Damaged items or delivery issues

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of both the packaging and the item.

This helps us assess the issue quickly and work with our delivery partner where needed.

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

30-Day Comfort Guarantee

30-Day Comfort Guarantee

Choosing furniture online is a big decision. Our 30-Day Comfort Guarantee gives you time to experience your eligible Forme Living Co furniture at home.

Forme Living Co is operated by Arlo Living Home Pty Ltd. In this policy, “Forme Living Co”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Arlo Living Home Pty Ltd trading as Forme Living Co.

How it works

The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee applies to eligible furniture items.

Eligible furniture items include sofas, accent chairs, ottomans and sofa modules.

The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee starts from the date your full eligible order is delivered.

If your item arrives in multiple boxes or separate deliveries, the 30-day period starts once all required boxes or components for that item have been delivered.

Because many of our furniture items are delivered compressed, we ask that you try your item for at least 14 days before requesting an unboxed return. This gives the item time to expand, settle and take shape, and gives you time to properly experience the comfort in your home.

If, after 14 days, your eligible furniture item is not the right fit, you can request a return before the end of the 30-day period.

Expansion and settling

Because Forme Living Co furniture may be delivered compressed, please allow up to 48 hours after unboxing for your item to fully expand, settle and take shape.

Minor wrinkles, creasing, softening, settling or shape variation after unboxing is normal and is not considered a defect unless it materially affects the item’s structure, function or reasonable use.

To be eligible for the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee, your item must be fully set up and used according to the included instructions.

Eligible products

The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee applies to eligible:

sofas
accent chairs
ottomans
sofa modules

Pre-order items are eligible once delivered. The guarantee starts from the date of delivery, not the date the order is placed.

Launch offer items are eligible if the discount is less than 35% and the item is not marked as clearance, final sale, floor stock, display stock, seconds, sample or “as-is”.

Accessories, add-ons, removable covers, care products and non-structural products are not eligible for the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee. They may be eligible for return under our Returns Policy if they meet the relevant conditions.

Who can use the Comfort Guarantee

The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee is available once per customer, household or delivery address.

It applies only to products purchased directly from Forme Living Co and used in a normal residential home setting.

It does not apply to products used for commercial, rental, Airbnb, short-stay accommodation, property styling, staging, office, hospitality or other business purposes.

Condition requirements

To be eligible for an unboxed 30-Day Comfort Guarantee return, the item must be:

clean
complete
undamaged
in near-new condition
suitable for resale
returned with all original parts, covers, legs, hardware, labels, care cards and accessories

Returns may be declined if the item has:

stains, spills, marks or discolouration
odours, smoke exposure, mould or dampness
pet hair, pet odours, scratching, chewing or other pet damage
tears, cuts, burns, dents, scratches, punctures or fabric damage
missing parts, missing labels or damaged components
signs of heavy use, misuse, poor care or improper cleaning
been used outside a normal residential home setting

How to request a Comfort Guarantee return

To request a 30-Day Comfort Guarantee return, email hello@formeliving.com.au before the end of the 30-day period.

Please include:

your order number
your delivery date, if available
your reason for return
clear photos showing the overall condition of the item
photos of the fabric, cushions, seams, legs or base
photos of any areas of concern

We may request additional photos, videos or information before approving a return.

Returns must be approved before collection is arranged.

Return fee

For approved unboxed 30-Day Comfort Guarantee returns, a $149 return fee applies Australia-wide if you choose a refund to your original payment method.

If you choose store credit instead, the $149 return fee is automatically waived.

Any separate original delivery or shipping fee paid at checkout is non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order included complimentary delivery, we will not deduct an additional outbound delivery cost from your refund or store credit.

Refund or store credit

For approved unboxed 30-Day Comfort Guarantee returns, you may choose:

a refund to your original payment method, less the $149 return fee; or
store credit for the product amount actually paid, with the $149 return fee waived

Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date issued, can be used on any Forme Living Co product, is non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds and store credit are issued only after the returned item has been collected, inspected and approved.

Approved refunds and store credit will be processed within 10 business days after inspection. Bank, card provider, PayPal, Afterpay, Shopify Payments or other payment provider processing times may vary.

Collection

For approved unboxed 30-Day Comfort Guarantee returns, Forme Living Co will arrange return courier collection.

The item must be available from an accessible pickup point, such as:

front door
ground floor entry
garage
loading bay
another agreed accessible pickup point

Couriers may not be able to collect from inside apartments, upstairs rooms, lifts, stairwells or difficult-access areas unless agreed in advance.

The customer must make the item and all included components available for collection from the agreed accessible pickup point. Forme Living Co may provide preparation instructions before collection.

If a collection is booked and the item is not ready, accessible or available when the courier arrives, a $149 failed collection fee may apply. This is separate from any return fee.

Full item returns

Unboxed 30-Day Comfort Guarantee returns must be returned as the full item or full configuration purchased.

Individual unboxed modules or components cannot be returned separately under the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee.

Unopened boxed returns

If your item is completely unopened, unused and still in original intact packaging, you do not need to wait 14 days before requesting a return.

Unopened boxed returns must still be requested within 30 days of delivery.

The $149 unboxed return fee does not apply to approved unopened boxed returns.

For unopened boxed returns:

the item must be completely unopened and unused
the packaging must be original, intact and suitable for resale
the packaging must not be ripped, wet, crushed, heavily damaged, resealed or tampered with
the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transport
the customer is responsible for the item until it is received by Forme Living Co
refunds or store credit are issued only after the item is received, inspected and approved

Photos are not required before approval for unopened boxed returns, but the item will be inspected once received.

If an unopened boxed return arrives back with damaged packaging, opened seals, wet or crushed boxes, missing labels or anything that affects resale value, Forme Living Co may decline the refund or approve a partial refund at its discretion.

Boxed modular components

Individual boxed modular components may be returned within 30 days if they are completely unopened, unused and in original intact packaging.

Opened or unboxed modular components cannot be returned individually under the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee.

No exchanges

The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee is for returns only.

We do not offer exchanges under the Comfort Guarantee. If you would like a different item, colour, size or configuration, you will need to place a new order separately.

If a return fails inspection

If the returned item is inspected and is not in clean, complete, near-new and resaleable condition, Forme Living Co may decline the refund or store credit.

If a refund or store credit is declined after inspection, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the item to be collected from Forme Living Co within 14 days.

If the item is not collected within that time, storage fees or disposal may apply.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this 30-Day Comfort Guarantee limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement, refund or compensation where required by law, including where a product has a major failure or fails to be of acceptable quality.

At Forme Living Co, we design furniture for modern Australian living — thoughtfully made, compactly delivered and made to be enjoyed at home.

This Warranty explains the voluntary warranty coverage that applies to Forme Living Co products, including what is covered, what is excluded, how to make a claim and how warranty support works over time.

Forme Living Co is operated by Arlo Living Home Pty Ltd. In this policy, “Forme Living Co”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Arlo Living Home Pty Ltd trading as Forme Living Co.

Warranty periods

Forme Living Co offers:

a 5-Year Limited Warranty for sofas, accent chairs, ottomans and sofa modules
a 1-Year Limited Warranty for smaller accessories, add-ons, removable covers, care items and other non-structural products, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page

Warranty coverage starts from the date of delivery.

Who the warranty applies to

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

It applies only to products:

purchased directly from Forme Living Co
used in a normal residential home setting
used indoors only
cared for in accordance with Forme Living Co’s care instructions
kept within Australia after delivery

The warranty does not apply if the product is resold, gifted, transferred, purchased second-hand, purchased through a third-party seller, purchased through a reseller, purchased through a marketplace, purchased via Facebook Marketplace or private resale, or purchased from an unauthorised seller.

The warranty is void if the product is relocated outside Australia after delivery.

Commercial use

This warranty applies to normal residential home use only.

It does not apply to products used for commercial, rental, Airbnb, short-stay accommodation, property styling, staging, office, hospitality or other business purposes.

Excluded sale items

The voluntary warranty does not apply to clearance items, final sale items, floor stock, display stock, seconds, samples or “as-is” items, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Items discounted by 35% or more are excluded from change-of-mind returns and the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee, but are not excluded from warranty coverage solely because of the discount unless they fall into one of the excluded categories above.

5-Year Limited Warranty for eligible furniture items

The 5-Year Limited Warranty applies to eligible furniture items.

Eligible furniture items include sofas, accent chairs, ottomans and sofa modules.

Years 1–2

During the first 2 years from delivery, the warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that affect the product’s structure, function or reasonable use.

This may include eligible manufacturing defects in:

product structure
foam
cushions
covers
zippers
stitching
seams
legs
connectors
hardware
included components

For approved warranty claims during years 1–2, Forme Living Co may provide a suitable replacement part free of charge, including standard delivery within Australia.

Refunds will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Years 3–5

During years 3–5 from delivery, warranty support is limited to eligible manufacturing defects affecting the core structure and functional components of the product.

This may include eligible manufacturing defects in:

core structure
foam
major cushion collapse caused by a manufacturing defect
legs
connectors
hardware

During years 3–5, approved replacement parts are supplied at Forme Living Co’s cost price, and the customer is responsible for the applicable delivery cost.

Fabric covers, stitching, seams, zippers, cosmetic finishes and general upholstery appearance are excluded after year 2, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

1-Year Limited Warranty for accessories and non-structural products

Smaller accessories, add-ons, removable covers, care items and other non-structural products are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page.

This warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that affect the product’s function or reasonable use.

It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, stains, odours, accidental damage, pet damage, improper cleaning, poor care, fading, pilling, comfort preference, change of mind or damage caused by use outside the intended purpose of the product.

Compression and expansion

Because some Forme Living Co furniture is delivered compressed, please allow up to 48 hours after unboxing for your item to fully expand, settle and take shape.

Minor wrinkles, creasing, softening, settling or shape variation after unboxing is normal and is not considered a defect unless it materially affects the product’s structure, function or reasonable use.

What the warranty covers

This warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that affect the product’s function, structure or reasonable use.

Depending on the product and warranty period, this may include:

structural defects caused by manufacturing issues
foam expansion faults
major cushion collapse caused by a manufacturing defect
manufacturing defects in stitching, seams, covers or zippers during the applicable coverage period
faulty legs, connectors or hardware
defects in included components during the applicable coverage period

The warranty does not cover minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the product’s function, structure or reasonable use.

What the warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover:

comfort preference
change of mind
normal wear and tear
normal softening of foam over time
minor compression or settling from regular use
fabric fading or discolouration
pilling
minor colour variation between batches, screens or product photos
general upholstery appearance changes over time
stains, spills, marks or liquid damage
odours, smoke exposure, mould or dampness
pet hair, pet odours, scratching, chewing or other pet damage
burns, cuts, tears, dents, scratches, punctures or impact damage
accidental damage caused by children, pets, guests, visitors or household use
damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or poor care
damage caused by harsh chemicals, bleaching, soaking, abrasive cleaning, machine washing, steam cleaning or cleaning methods not recommended by Forme Living Co
damage caused by sunlight, heat, humidity, moisture, dampness, outdoor use or unsuitable environments
damage caused by moving, transporting, storing or handling the product incorrectly after delivery
damage during house moves
damage caused by dragging, dropping or improper lifting
damage caused by damp, humid or unsuitable storage
incorrect assembly
modifications or alterations
unauthorised repairs
use with non-Forme Living Co parts, covers, legs, hardware or accessories
commercial, rental, Airbnb, short-stay accommodation, property styling, staging, office, hospitality or other business use
products relocated outside Australia
products purchased from unauthorised sellers, resellers, marketplaces, second-hand sales or private resale

Care requirements

To keep the warranty valid, customers must follow Forme Living Co’s care instructions, use the product indoors only and keep it in a normal residential environment.

The warranty may not apply where damage is caused by outdoor use, improper cleaning, moisture, heat, direct sunlight, pets, misuse, poor care, unsuitable storage or use outside the product’s intended purpose.

Making a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, email hello@formeliving.com.au as soon as reasonably possible after noticing the issue.

Please include:

your order number
proof of purchase
delivery date, if available
a written description of the issue
clear photos or videos showing the issue
photos of any product label, batch label or identifying details, if available

Waiting too long to contact us may make it harder to assess the issue and may affect whether the claim can be approved, especially if the delay causes further damage or makes the original issue unclear.

If you notice a potential issue, please stop using the product where continued use may make the issue worse. Warranty claims may be declined if the customer continues using the product after noticing the issue and that continued use causes further damage.

Assessment of warranty claims

We reserve the right to assess each warranty claim before approval.

This may include requesting additional photos, videos, written information, product labels, batch details or arranging an inspection of the product.

Customers must provide reasonable access for inspection, collection or assessment if Forme Living Co needs to review a warranty claim in person. If reasonable access is not provided, the claim may be delayed or declined.

Approved warranty claims

If a warranty claim is approved, Forme Living Co may provide a suitable replacement part where appropriate.

For sofas, accent chairs, ottomans and sofa modules:

during years 1–2, approved replacement parts are supplied free of charge, including standard delivery within Australia
during years 3–5, approved replacement parts are supplied at Forme Living Co’s cost price, with delivery paid by the customer

Refunds will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product, fabric, colour, cover, component or replacement part is discontinued or unavailable, Forme Living Co may provide the closest available replacement part. Exact colour, fabric or finish matches cannot always be guaranteed.

Replacement parts and warranty period

If a replacement part is supplied under warranty, the original warranty period does not restart.

Warranty coverage continues from the original product delivery date.

Declined warranty claims

If a warranty claim is assessed and found not to be covered, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping, inspection, replacement part, handling or redelivery costs.

Costs not covered by this warranty

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, this warranty does not cover indirect, incidental or extra costs, including:

loss of use
time off work
inconvenience
third-party assembly
third-party disassembly
moving costs
storage costs
disposal costs
replacement furniture hire
other incidental or consequential costs

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Warranty limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement, refund or compensation where required by law, including where a product has a major failure or fails to be of acceptable quality.

This Warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
