Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Forme Living Co, we design sofas for modern Australian living — thoughtfully made, compactly delivered, and easier to bring home.

This Shipping Policy explains how our delivery process works, including dispatch timeframes, delivery areas, shipping fees, Click & Collect, and what to do if you need support with your order.

Delivery areas

Forme Living Co currently delivers within Australia only.

We deliver Australia-wide where our delivery network allows. Some regional and remote postcodes may not be serviceable. If we are unable to deliver to your postcode after your order is placed, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options. If delivery cannot be arranged, we will cancel your order and provide a full refund.

Where your order ships from

Orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Kingsgrove, NSW.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in NSW.

Dispatch timeframes

In-stock items are usually dispatched from our Kingsgrove warehouse within 1–2 business days after your order is confirmed.

Pre-order items, or products with a listed lead time, will dispatch according to the timeframe shown on the product page. If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we may ship them together once all items are available, unless otherwise arranged.

During peak periods, sales, public holidays, extreme weather events, courier disruptions or other circumstances outside our control, dispatch and delivery timeframes may be affected.

Shipping fees

We offer complimentary delivery to eligible Sydney metro postcodes. Free Sydney metro delivery will be shown at checkout where available.

Free Click & Collect is also available by appointment from our Kingsgrove, NSW warehouse.

For deliveries outside Sydney metro, shipping fees are charged at checkout based on your delivery address. Some regional deliveries may incur a flat $175 delivery fee due to higher freight costs.

In rare cases, a shipping fee shown at checkout may be incorrect due to postcode, courier limitations, item size, or regional freight costs. If this happens, we will contact you before dispatch with the updated delivery cost. You can choose to proceed with the order or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Estimated delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and begin once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated delivery timeframes are:

Sydney metro: 1–3 business days after dispatch
Other metro areas: 3–7 business days after dispatch
Regional areas: 5–12 business days after dispatch

For eligible Sydney metro postcodes, next-business-day delivery may be available for in-stock orders placed before 12pm on a business day.

Delivery timing may depend on your location, order timing, courier availability, public holidays, peak periods, and any access requirements at the delivery address.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may take a short time to appear after your order leaves our Kingsgrove warehouse.

Delivery service

Our standard delivery service is to your front door or ground floor entry point.

Couriers are generally unable to carry items upstairs, into lifts, through apartments, or into a specific room unless this has been arranged separately. Please make sure someone is available to help move your boxes inside if needed.

Delivery does not include assembly, unboxing, rubbish removal, or placement of the sofa inside your home. Your sofa will arrive boxed, and setup instructions will be provided with your order.

Access requirements

Before placing your order, please check that the boxed sofa dimensions are suitable for your building access, including doorways, lifts, stairwells, hallways and parking or loading areas.

While our sofas are designed to arrive in compact boxes, customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery can be safely received at the address.

If your delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, missed delivery, unsafe access, or no one being available where a signature is required, a redelivery fee may apply.

Authority to Leave

Deliveries may require a signature on arrival unless you provide Authority to Leave instructions.

You may be able to provide Authority to Leave instructions at checkout or directly with the courier once tracking is available. If you choose Authority to Leave, the courier may leave your order in a safe place at the delivery address.

Authority to Leave is used at your own risk. Forme Living Co is not responsible for loss, theft, weather damage, or damage caused after the courier has delivered the order in line with your instructions, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery address changes

You can request a delivery address change before your order has been dispatched.

Once your order has left our Kingsgrove warehouse, we may not be able to change or redirect the delivery, but we will do our best to help where possible.

Preferred delivery dates

For eligible Sydney metro orders, we may offer the option to select or request a preferred delivery date.

For deliveries outside Sydney metro, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, but tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Weekend delivery is not currently offered as a standard service. In some Sydney metro areas, weekend delivery may be available by prior arrangement, depending on courier availability.

Multiple boxes

Some Forme Living Co sofas may arrive in more than one box.

In some cases, boxes may be delivered separately depending on courier handling and scanning. If you believe part of your order is missing, please contact us at hello@formeliving.com.au with your order number and tracking details.

PO Boxes and parcel collection points

Due to the size and weight of our sofa boxes, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, parcel collection points, or post office addresses.

Please provide a residential or business street address at checkout.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is available by appointment from our Kingsgrove, NSW warehouse.

Once your order is ready, we will contact you with collection details. Please wait for confirmation before arriving, as collections are available by appointment only.

Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle and arranging any help needed to safely load and transport their order.

Damaged items or delivery issues

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of both the packaging and the item.

This helps us assess the issue quickly and work with our delivery partner where needed.

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
